My take on the infamous scene of the visit of the Black sisters at Spinners End. I just knew I had to get it out of my system some time.
It was definitely my favorite chapter from the entire book, most favorite quote: "Don't you dare blame my husband!" You tell them Narcissa!
Apologies to all who expected a Helena Bonham-Carter lookalike for Bella. I'm just not quite there yet. Hope you like my version regardless. I am still kind of seeing someone looking more like Claudia Black in that role. Especially that frizzy wig they've stuck on the poor woman in the publicity shots just isn't my cup of tea! Maybe the movie will "cure" me...
This one's dedicated to , a very talented artist from Athens and a wonderful person.
nice job. narcissa and snape's faces look a little odd. i don't know quite what i find odd looking about them, but they do look odd to me. O.o maybe it's just me.....

This is really an awesome piece.. but. Snape and Bellatrix just don't seem "in" the picture. For both, their eyes just don't seem to be focused on the "right" thing. Snape.. his head "should" (just in my opinion) be more angled down toward Narcissia. Bellatrix.. she seemed a lot more angry in the book than you portrayed her here, that could've just been the different ways we portrayed the book, too..
You're an amazing artist, and this is a great piece- I could never do anything quite like this! Just offering my though. Hope you don't mind.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
