Description
(2017), 15" x 6" x 5", stained glass (green opal, blue opal, grey, turquoise, blue), glass lenses, copper foil, lead solder, chains and rings
Companion piece to the "Fuego!" lantern I made last fall. This one features various shades of blue and green glass and three etched glass lenses show the water triplicity of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. The three panels are connected to form a triangle with a transparent triangular glass panel suspended between them to support a candle.
I fixed chains to each of the tops of the panels so the lantern can be hung from a hook.
