(2008) 9"x 3", Size 15 seed beads (matte black, 14k gold, silver-lined teal iris, lavender iris), black onyx and size 11 gold beads, nylon thread.

I guess it's time for another bead piece after all the drawings and clay. This one I threaded in December, and I really like the bold blue jewel-tones offset by gold against a pitch-black background. It's a really satisfying winter piece with a nice bit of flash and sparkle.

I can't just quite make out a demon face in the pattern, but somehow this thing "looked" at me while I made it, hence the title.

It got lost when I lost my Beader program - now all the pattern files are not readable any more. I'd need to recreate it at some point.

ah that sucks, Hope you find it. Can I ask which stitch you used (brick, peyote, loom?) I may be able to carefully look at it and do it on the beading software that I have.

Great work though!

It's done in Peyote. Actually if you look in my scaps there are some instructions for it and other patterns.

It kind of reminds me of more of a butterfly face than demon face, but that may be the colors. It's very bold and striking, though, no matter how you look at it. Lovely work.
