(2003) 16" length, red sweetwater pearls, gold lustre size 15 seed beads, burgundy metallic and gold lustre size 11 seed beads, matte burgundy and gold triangle beads, nylon thread, cold-filled sterling crimps, jump-rings and closure finding.
This piece is done in circular brick stich around each of the cental pearls. I finished each circle with a picot edge and then sewed them together for a necklace. Brick stitich is more forgiving than Peyote if you want to combine different sizes and shapes of beads |
