Datura Vines Window by Ellygator Datura Vines Window by Ellygator
(2012), 58" x 33", stained glass (gray, opal flame, amber, alabaster, white, dark green, light green, opal green, translucent), solder, copper foil, iron rods.

First of two symmetrical windows for the inglenook in my kitchen. Just finished it yesterday and my hands are beat up! Taking today off and soaking in hand cream!

Thank you! It's so nice to come into the kitchen in the morning and see them...

Lovely! You capture the shape and colour of the flowers beautifully (we have several datura plants growing in our side garden). The glasswork itself is exquisite - love the Art Nouveau touches.

Thanks so much! I'm really happy with it. Its companion piece is nearly done - I just ran out of the clear glass yesterday...

I never thought a hallucinogenic plant would look so elegant. This is absolutely beautiful!

Thanks so much! It was a really fun project - the companion piece for the window next to it is almost done now, too!
