(2005) Beads are between 0.3" and 2" in diameter. Moretti glass (blue, green, gold dust and clear), dead soft 20 gauge silver wire, Hothead torch, Bali silver beads and spacers, fireline, sliver findings.

The glass beads for this necklace are hand-made in the torch flame. The center bead was first shaped as a round. Then I added pieces of melted silver to create the "bubbles" in the glass and encased the bead in clear glass. I then flattened the bead using a graphite marver and added the clear glass "bumps" down the sides.

The shape in the dangle is created by setting the bead mandrel upright into the flame and letting the glass slowly drip down to one side. That way the round bead melts into a drop.

Thanks very much! It's always a challenge to get the smaller beads to remain even in size...

Thank you! I hope you have a good start. In the right conditions it can be totally addictive, I think!

I'm no way an expert, but if you get stuck, feel free to post me.
