Awesome! I love this one it speaks to me of the sea and I am a fish star sign. That spiral is beautiful. Personally I might have tried to pick up that really dark blue in it on the bracelet a little more but then again I am half blind and beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. I would love to try this kind of thing. Maybe after I've done with my [link] I'll give a cuff a try. I am still new to beading and seeing all of these wonderful different things you can do with beads and stitches has me enthralled a'new. Thank you for showing and offering the patterns.

Wow! Love your dragon. That will be one splendid piece when it's done! As for the bracelet. I'm glad you like it. I posted instructions and pattern for it in my etsy store under ellejewelry.

(Blast, I hit the button too soon!)

The inner band of blue within the darker bands really ties the bracelet and the bright, bold clasp together.

Here I am, catching up with your muse at last!

The earring really takes this piece to the refined realms of "Far Out," as the muted tones would have lent themselves nicely to any number of ornaments. I love how organic your sea slug bracelets are, and while that name doesn't sound flattering, I mean it to be! They are so organic and soft looking, as though they should be swimming along the bright towers of a coral reef.

Thanks so much! I am glad you like the colors and combination. I just got totally taken in by the fabulous shape, precision and smoothness of the earrings. However, as a 44 year old business consultant I will not get myself into earlobe stretching, so wearing them as intended was totally out of the question. I gave one a home on a simple strung bead necklace for everyday wear and the other one just had to get the full treatment with the bracelet design.

PS.: I love sea-slugs, colorful, graceful and amazing creatures, and so I definitely take this as a compliment!

I may have my share of tattoos (4), but I never understood lobe stretching or ear plugs in general. The Egyptians could get away with it (and had earrings worth it); tribal people can get away with it; in a modern setting, it just looks silly and a touch desperate. Tattoos, depending on placement, can generally be your little secret--ear lobes, not so much!

I'm glad you took the sea slub comment as the compliment it was intended to be. "Slug" is such a misleading term for the lovely sea variety!

Yep - I do hope the next trend is not lip-plugs and lip-stretching, or how about silver rings around your neck until you have the grace and beauty of a giraffe. Some practices for human embellishment over the ages and over the globe have not really been improvements at all...
