(2012) 9"x 3", Size 15 seed beads (silver-lined light russet opal, silver lined gold opal, silver-lined white opal, opaque black) yellow jade beads, polyester thread.

The color combination for this bracelet is the same as the one I used for "Ivory Lace"

It shows how much a pattern can influence the character of a piece, even though the color scheme remains the same. For "Ivory Lace" the vibe is pretty Victorian with the black crystal beads giving the piece a bit of a goth feel, and the main accent color is black. "Gold Spikes" to me just has a dynamic and modern flow with the sinuous lines and spikes of the gold pattern taking center stage.

I am as so often indebted to :iconkarloz030985:, whose tribal tattoo designs inspired this piece.

Thank you! I guess it turned out that way... I love these abstract patterns, always so much to see in them.

Another geometric beauty! The shape could also easily become a small clutch purse, which might be a thought for the more matching minded.

Ha, I hadn't thought of it, but the rounded semicircle shape would really work for that. Maybe with size 11s, to make it a little bigger... Thanks!
