(2007) Pencil on paper 12"x9"

This was a commish from a fellow Jason-fan over in England. [link]

She asked for a musically inspired version of Lucius with the drawing to feature a harpsichord, a peacock feather and a manuscript musical score.

So for now we can reveal the rather peaceful past-time of our favorite Death Eater when he's not out cursing muggles, hunting prophecies, taunting Potter, bribing ministry officials and doing the Dark Lord's work.

I had fun with the details as usual: the shadows cast on his hand by the peacock feather as it catches the light, the serpent intaglio on the old heirloom instrument, more snakes in the stained glass window behind him, a Baphomet-pentagram box on the shelf, and of course an elaborate fan-shaped family tree framed on the left wall that proudly displays his illustrious ancestry...

It was such an intriguing idea from the person who asked for the commission.

Thank you! I was at first taken aback by the commissioner's idea, but the more I got into it, the more I liked it!
