(2006) 37" x 25". Stained glass (Green, white, alabaster, purple), mirror, copper foil, lead solder.
I decided I was fed up with my boring scalloped glass mirror in the guest bathroom and threw it out in favor of my own design.
The white glass hangs against the dark green wall-paint I recently used in all the bathrooms and so makes for quite a nice contrasting effect. Of course the design has to be a lizard in keeping with all of the lizard drawings I'm doing right now. My guests will think I'm nuts!
That's so cool..i want one!!!....just as a coincidence, today i found my first lizard in the British Isles....!!
All my childhood i was searching, but i guess they just don't live in the northamptonshire countryside where i grew up..
but today, up on the moor top..in some old peat diggings........I was so happy
i even caught it and took it's photo...i shall post the photo in my scraps.........................................................................
I am indeed happy to know another lizard lover to share my find

I've wondered when you would do the next window - although the number of windows in a house is limited, of course. So that's a gorgeous idea, to do a mirror instead

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

Chris is a natural leader with a vibrant and empathic personality, and is a role model for deviants everywhere. It's ev... Read More

And how on earth did you manage to photograph it with nothing in the reflection? I've given up trying to photo mine with no reflections...
