(2006) 37" x 25". Stained glass (Green, white, alabaster, purple), mirror, copper foil, lead solder.

I decided I was fed up with my boring scalloped glass mirror in the guest bathroom and threw it out in favor of my own design.

The white glass hangs against the dark green wall-paint I recently used in all the bathrooms and so makes for quite a nice contrasting effect. Of course the design has to be a lizard in keeping with all of the lizard drawings I'm doing right now. My guests will think I'm nuts!

Thank you! You'd have to fight my husband for it, though. It's his favorite of my glass works...

Thanks! I first assembled the lizard and frame, then I put copper foil all around the outside of the mirror and soldered the frame and lizard onto the top of the mirror. (Hope that makes sense...)
