Artist's Comments

(2008) 2"x 2.5" for each of the pendants including the bail.

Art Clay Silver (cut, sculpted, fired and patinaed), 10 mm gemstone cabs (onyx, amethyst, chalcedony, moonstone, Aventurine, carnelian, amber), bezel wire, silver wire, bail findings.

And here is the whole set in the traditional arrangement for the original planets (before Neptune and Uranus were discovered and before anyone even thought of fighting about the status of Pluto)

From the top clockwise:
Saturn - onyx
Jupiter - amethyst
Venus - chalcedony (pearl is more traditional)
Moon - moonstone
Mercury - aventurine
Mars - carnelian
Sun - amber

The markings on each of the planetary seals are taken from The Key of Solomon.
