(2011), 9"x 2.5", Size 15 seed beads (grey-lined crystal, matte chocolate), size 11 seed beads, (cream-lined crystal, gold-lined smoke opal, gold-lined cream opal, silver-lined light blue, silver-lined chartreuse), ocean jasper beads, focal glass art bead, nylon thread.

Another one of my ndebele ripple bracelets again featuring a spectacular art glass bead from beatlebabyglassworks on etsy. [link]

I love the way the colors turned out and picked up on the different hues of the focal bead. Somehow I must have been hungry when beading, hence the yummy title for this one.

Just gotta say, it's so weird - I love beatlebabyglassworks over on Etsy and it's one of my favorite shops - and it's so odd to have come across their works here on deviantART so randomly! =D
Love your work by the way! You're amazing with the beads <3

You can find a bunch of my designs and some instructions in my scraps [link]

I have not made any instructions around the ripple cuffs, though. Might post a pattern and how to when I have a little more time, though.

Nov. 24th? Dear gods, I really am behind!

The blues, silver-grays, and bright pops of green play so well together and give one a reflection of all the moods of the sea. The glass bead reminds me very much of a conch shell, and I'd love to see you do one of these in that shell's usual rose and flesh tones.

Thanks so much! I hope to pick up another few of beatlebabyglasswork's beads - hopefully in more shell-colored tones. She loves her neons and blues, that's for sure... Not so much subtle stuff in her gallery!

Did you get the link I e-mailed you a few weeks ago regarding an Etsy shop that sold ancient jewelry elements for modern use? If not, here it is again: [link] I wish I better knew the provenance of his items, as I don't want to encourage illegal trading, but he does have some lovely things.

Yes, I did, sorry for not yet commenting. It's really beautiful and amazing pieces. I think if I ever was looking for that special piece to complement a design that called for some serious historical dimension - that's where I'd go... You'd hope etsy was looking into not encouraging artists and traders who did something fishy.

Anyway, thanks so much for the link!
