You have such a great sense of pattern designs.
This would make a great pattern on fabric(batik). I should think a silk scarf with this design would be delightful.
You should submit this to the d'ArtNouveau Club...

Thank you! Actually I made a silk scarf with this quite a while ago. I need to take a decent picture of it some time.

Yes you do,
Also Elly,I find your designs for jewelry so very strong, but I'm prejudiced about the material you use and keep thinking they should be either cast or fabricated in a solid metal for durability. I mean, to create a piece that could be an heirloom and survive several generations...This is my own preference of course,I hope you're not offended...They are truly lovely pieces either way...

That's an interesting concept. I guess some of these things might be done as enamels, but you're right, beads are more of a transitory art form - half way between fabrics and real metal jewelry.

Oh Elly forgive me I was unclear,
I meant the art clay pieces.
I think those designs are absolutely stunning but are too fragile in that medium...
Just my particular prejudice.
It seems to me for the amount of work you put in carving it ,that it should be done in a much more resilient medium,i.e. CAST if not fabricated. that way these magnificent pieces would last several generations and might be passed as heirlooms...

Ah, okay, I understand now. Yes, the silver clay is a bit soft, because of its high grade of purity, and one has to handle the pieces will a little more care than a similar piece made from sterling silver.
