(2010) 16" end to end for the necklaces, each pendant about 1.5" x 2". Silver Art Clay (cut, carved, fired, antiqued, polished and burnished), pure silver wire, sterling silver wire, sterling silver chain and clasps, sterling silver beads, faceted moonstone beads, disassembled moonstone earring.
For these two necklaces I revisited old designs that I had done before with art glass beads, "The Glass of Absinthe" [link] and "Belcolore" [link]
gave me a beautiful moonstone earring as part of our latest art exchange, and I decided to take it apart and integrate it into two moonstone versions of my old designs. The necklace to the left sports the earring dangle, the one to the right has the middle segment with an additional moonstone bead attached to it.
It was fun to see how the silver chains and lighter stones and colors really altered the look and feel of the designs.
