(2008) 5"x 3" for the silver panel, 18" for overall length of the necklace.
Art Clay Silver (cut, sculpted, fired and patinaed), black enamel, garent cabs, bezel wire, faceted garnet and onyx beads, silver beads, Bali silver, silver finding for the clasp, Fireline.
This was a commission for as part of an art trade. I got a fabulous Lucius drawing in exchange for it. [link]
The request was just to produce something with a goth feel and using garnet and black enamel, so I carved the pendant and the pendulum, fired the basic shape, added the settings for the stones and fired the bezel wire into shape. I then filled the recessed areas of the design with enamel powder and fired the piece at a lower temperature to melt the glass. As a last step I set the garnets, closed the bezel wire and then patinaed and polished the silver. I then assembled the pendulum inside of the overall pendant and added the stone-bead necklaces on either side of the panel.
This pendant has a bit of a bat-thing going for it. I could imagine an elegant female vampire wearing this: black dress, black hair, pale skin, red lipstick and this necklace. Very cool.

But anyway, I am generally amazed at the precision of all of your PMC work.
