(2007) 6 1/4" long 2 1/2" wide. Silver art clay, carved, fired, antiqued, polished and burnished, 10 mm amethyst cab, bezel wire.
This bracelet is part of an art trade with . I based the bracelet on a Celtic knotwork design she did and adapted it for silver art clay.
The cab is not fixed in the bezel as she will be setting her own stone, but with the amethyst it reminded me of the old legend that amethysts protect against drunkenness, hence the title.

Beautiful! I love the texture of the metal in this, it has a "brushed" effect that flows really well with the knot work. Is that really an amethyst... It's so bluey in the pic...
Lindsay is very very lucky! I think this might be your best silver cuff yet!

Very nice. I like how the texture is rough but the knotwork is very smooth.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
