(2006) 16" for the overall length of the necklace, 2" x 2 3/4" for the pendant.

Art glass beads (emerald green and clear Moretti glass, 999 silver wire), Silver Art Clay, Fireline, Bali silver, green, grey and black agate beads, silver beads, findings.

Another set using satinated beads. These have a core of green, are encased in clear glass and finished with a few random silver dots on the surface. I then dunked the beads in etching fluid to satinate the surface.

The beads are attached to a Silver Art Clay "armature" which I designed, shaped and fired attaching silver wire rings in the process to which I could later wirework the beads.

The armature was part of my rather doomed Silver Clay project over Christmas, but aside from a bit of warping it did all right and could be salvaged.

The heavily Art Nouveau influenced shapes and the milky mysterious green of the beads are somewhat responsible for the fanciful title of this piece.

Thank you! It was cool to be able to make the whole thing - the beads as well as the silver pendant.

No problem, just left comment. If you're a glass artist yourself and need to know more please just note me. I am in no way a master of this craft, but happy to share what little I do know.
