I had a design for the silver panel laid by for quite some time now, and as a recent commission made me buy more silver clay I finally got an opportunity to turn the idea into an actual necklace. I always like to crank my kiln up when I really have enough pieces ready to justify the sudden spike in our electricty bill.

The design always reminded me of clouds and water, so when it came to selecting the stones to complement the design, the choice wasn't difficult: some tiny blue agate beads for the attachments of the necklace to the panel, gorgeous faceted aquamarine and labradorite accents for the strands, and some lovely shimmery aquamarine dangles for the pendant.
