Vampire by Ellygator Vampire by Ellygator
(2013), 2.75" x 7", size 15 seed beads (black, transparent garnet, silver-lined ruby, transparent crimson ab), black 2mm bi-cone crystals, blood-red crystal rondelles, Fireline

Nice, dramatic winter variation of my lace bracelets. This one looks quite striking against pale skin and adds a bit of glamor to a black sweater or blouse.

I'll be surprised if you keep this one for very long--it's gorgeous and has "Spend money you shouldn't on me!" written all over it.  The purple-to-red gradation is fantastic, and the black lace pattern and red drop beads make me want to break out our collection of Hammer Horror movies, as it would fit right in to the rich Victorian setting. (Christopher Lee as Dracula, Peter Cushing as Van Helsing, more cheekbones between them than can be believed!).  The scalloped edges also bring to mind Dracula's cape.  Luscious and viciously lovely!

Oh yeah, that definitely started my love for vampires... just great movie memories! I'm actually working on a longer, slightly slimmed-down version right now that will go with it and can be worn as a choker - you know, to cover up those pesky bite-marks...

Thank you! This design does take a bit of time, all that stitching the components together is a little on the fiddly side. But I think the eventual Victorian lace look you get with it is kinda worth the effort.

Beautiful, I love how it looks when worn=D
The red beads remind me of viburnum berries in the winter - f4.foto.rambler.ru/preview/r/6…

This is really beautiful and intricate. How long did it take you to make? I think this is one of the best seed bead gothic bracelets I have ever seen. Cannot wait to see more.

Thank you so much! This probably took about 25-30 hours to make, the panels and all of the connections are detailed stuff and just require a bit of patience. However, I am really glad I found a good home for the crystal beads. They just look like deep, rich blood drops...
