Even though the star stone for Scorpio is sometimes designated as opal, I decided on something that would have more of a color impact and went with the dramatic black of onyx. The idea of opal still lingers in the shades of green of the page and in the waves that surround the central image. In the end I was surprised how "Slytherin" my Scorpio looked, but for the fixed water sign that's not too bad an association. Personally I consider Scorpio my shadow sign: while the sun hung out in Leo for my birth chart, most other planets lurked around in Scorpio, including the moon. |
