One of the wonderful art genres I follow on DA are fractals, and I recently had quite a stunning visual experience when I ran across renders made with a 3D program called "Mandelbulb 3D". One deviant in particular not only produces stunning art with this program, he's also generously sharing his knowledge with some great tutorials and examples. Hope you enjoy a little sample from his gallery:

I definitely woke up to a nice surprise this morning finding that

In other happy weekend news, I finally came across the perfect black blouse to wear with your scarab pendant. That, coupled with my favorite black skirt and trademark boots + newly size 6 me (all my pants are falling off!) = some snazzy con attire! I've just been invited to be the guest of honor at one in two years (they're booked until then), so I'm glad for the healthy wardrobe standby's!
Also, it's very cool, that they invited you for the con!
As part of dropping the poverty weight (ah, Ramen noodles--evil, evil Ramen noodles) from our unemployed stint, I finally quit drinking soda, which seems to have been the biggest catalyst. That, and being able to afford real/healthy food, for I am the fruit and veggie queen when given the choice. I get stir-crazy if I go a few days without being able to walk or hike for a few hours, so it was a mainly a matter of cutting out the processed crap and working off the damage!
