I haven't featured a good portrait artist here for a while, so for this journal it will be
His portraits amaze not just for their technical proficiency, but also because of their nearly hyperrealistic textures, emotional depth and because of their amazing quality of almost glowing with energy and light from the inside out!

Well, looks like business is picking up again at this time of year, so I wanted to let everyone know that I am changing my DA habits a little: I used to visit everyone's home page who had faved one of my works and thanked them in person, that just won't fly right now. I would rather have most of my time here spent commenting on other folks' art, creating my own stuff, answering commission requests and responding personally to comments and questions. I will still thank any new watchers and folks who took the time to dig into my gallery for multiple faves.
Other than that, I am still as thankful as ever to everyone for coming by, taking an interest in my creations and faving, but I won't be able to thank everyone individually.
I am also thinking of marking my 5 year anniversary here on DA with a contest, so if you have a moment, please drop by my poll and vote or submit your own suggestions: [link]
Your feedback is much appreciated!
* If you ask me to make artwork available as a print, please check if it uses copyrighted material. DA will not take print submissions that are based on such materials. This means, no prints of drawings based on movies or TV shows like the Harry Potter Movies, Brokeback Mountain, CSI etc. If you want a drawing as a print please note me instead.

If you want to know more about my art:

I think we can weather it, it's the huge corporations that are all going to suffer because all they care about is profit. And at the end of the day, if we have to go back to work for an employer, we will still have all of our skills, so will be able to pick things up at a more prosperous time. Let's hope it doesn't come to that though.
Curiously, I've just experienced one of my busiest months since my business started, so if the rest of the year continues in the same manner, I will be very happy.
Hey, I would like to comment in detail almost each second of Your art, but I really have seldom time enough to write coherent, well-structured comment, so I do understand this time-saving approach.
