Well, I've been a little quiet here for a few weeks with few comments and submissions, but I've spent some wonderful times with my brother and his family who came to visit us in Texas. His little three-year old son just loved swimming in our pool and really lost all fear of water. We had a great vacation with them.
The summer contest of "Ancient Realms" has taken off slowly, but I am hoping that a news article will drum up some interest. Any of you who feel like pimping the event in your journals would be most welcome as well. It's always more fun to judge a contest where there are a lot of excellent choices to consider. The submissions I've received so far are definitely top notch already! We also need some more judges. So if you think you won't have the time or inspiration to draw, craft or photograph something, you can still be involved if you like.
My day-job also looks like it's going to be a little more eventful than last year where I had virtually no consulting projects. This time round I have several clients already on my books or getting ready for projects, so I'm trying to get my own artwork out of the way beforehand - mostly silver-clay coin jewelry. I just fired a whole new batch yesterday that now needs setting and stringing.
* If you ask me to make artwork available as a print, please check if it uses copyrighted material. DA will not take print submissions that are based on such materials. This means, no prints of drawings based on movies or TV shows like the Harry Potter Movies, Brokeback Mountain, CSI etc. If you want a drawing as a print please note me instead.
