Well, it's March, time for the first green leaves here in Texas and of course St. Paddy's Day, so just to change up my journal ready for spring, here are some recent green beauties from my faves gallery. Enjoy!

Outside of feathering my nest in green I have little to report from the art front. I'm currently in the process of finishing my latest Snape commish and have gone through some serious herringbone ripple addiction (keep your eyes peeled for more posts!) I'm also looking forward to breaking out the old silver clay again. In warmer weather it always dries better. I have a nice replica coin of Alexander the Great that I want to set, and there are a few lovely dark blue glass cabs that could do with being made into pendants. And for drawings, well there are still a few Game of Thrones characters waiting, and I want to add to my lizards with probably a crested gecko and a portrait of my lovely beardie, Mo'o, who is now 6 months old and quite photogenic.
Work has been eating up most of my time, though we did spend a nice long weekend in New Orleans to celebrate a friend's birthday (not a good move for shedding winter fat, that's for sure...). We also went to England for a few days, as my mother-in-law recently passed away. It was a sad occasion, but at least it brought the rest of the family together. We also did a few good projects around the house: the bathrooms are now tiled in pretty dark green slate, the house has a whole new set of insulated windows, and we got our busted water heater for the hot tub fixed. So overall life is pretty good!
