Just found this featured deviant a few days ago:

:iconqeenjamaika:

I know it's yet another jewelry feature, but this is absolutely exquisite and inspired work with a wonderfully individual touch. Each piece has incredible character, precision and personality!

I’ve not heard back from Warner Bros yet and will probably resend my request mail to one other name there that I have. Still I can’t move forward (or not) with a definitive answer yet. In the meantime I am prepared to offer the deck as a privately printed edition. If you are interested: pricing and specifications are given below.

The deck is printed by a professional printing service on 100 lb glossy cardstock – the quality being nearly equal to commercially available decks. Each card measures 5” by 2 7/8” showing all of the detail and texture of the original drawings. When I receive the prints from the printer they look like this:

Sheetsample

The front of each sheet is printed with four of the overall 78 cards, the back is printed with the card-backs, which are slightly larger than the cards on the front, so when the cards are cut out, the back design covers the back of the card completely.

I can either send you the sheets and you cut the deck yourself or I can send you the fully cut deck which will take a day or two more.

Pricing for the uncut deck: $80 plus $5 shipping US, $10 shipping worldwide
Pricing for the cut deck: $100 plus $5 shipping US, $10 shipping worldwide

I know this is more expensive than a commercial deck, however, I am paying the printer about $60 for printing and shipping of each deck myself.

In the meantime I am still trying to get permissions and will attempt to get a commercial version made. If you want to hold out for the chance to be able to get the deck cheaper that way I certainly understand.

If you are interested in getting a deck, please note me or mail me with a request and let me know if you want the cut or the uncut deck. I ask that payment is made via PayPal in full before I order a requested deck.

No problem. I'll just order decks as the orders come in, and I'll just continue with that until (if ever) there is a commercial deck, so no rush!

This deck is certainly worth that price...I adore my set, once it's sunny and warm enough to let it sit outside all night (without any fear of rain or snow damage) I will cleanse it and use it :D

As someone blessed with a copy of the deck I want to tell everyone that they are really incredible pieces to own and are ultra-high quality!! It's the most magnificent deck I own (and I collect them).

On a personal note, good luck with the publisher!! :fingerscrossed: If anyone deserves an endorsement, it's you!

oh gosh... I know how it is with pricing and printers, and I think that is totally worth it for a collector's deck.. I wish that it was a tiny bit less though because I would literally buy a deck on the first of december :tears: please keep us all posted with how it goes. ...... I still want to get one, hopefully they will become affordable to me at some point..// good luck with warner bros..

Thank you so much for your encouragement. As for the privately printed offer, that will certainly be open either indefinitely or until I have permission to find a publisher.
