Now featuring the winner of 3rd prize for my "Four Elements" summer contest

:iconaedjy:

Go to suzufan's gallery and you just can't help but smile - bright upbeat colors, fun and dynamic compositions and cool, sassy characters will just make you feel good! With her lovely design of four elementals this young artist from the Philippines won third place in the Four Elements Summer Contest

... no, not me, I am like your average herpes infection - never going anywhere!

However, I'm actually in a bit of a panic, because my FAVORITE internet bead resource is going out of business. I guess I just didn't manage to buy enough beads off them... Still, they were the best assorted guys for anything Miyuki bead related and I am absolutely torn up that I will now have to find new suppliers.

If you are a serious beader and you are looking for some discounts: they are flogging their stock, so you can still pick up some bargains! Just go here [link] and grab what you can get.

R.I.P. Foxden! You made so many of my bead projects possible. I am very sad to see you go!

Thank you! Yeah, I am still bummed by the whole thing. I guess crafters don't have enough money to spend on their hobbies any more, so the suppliers are short of orders. I am so ready for this f***ing recession to be over already...

I'm in the UK, but when I need Delicas - and who doesn't need/want/crave Delicas in all colours and all sizes?? - I go to www.delicabeads.co.uk. Unfortunately I don't know how much they charge to ship to the US. And if you want Delica mixes you might try www.robins-beads.co.uk.

Ohh, great stuff! Thanks so much. I have not been on either of these sites before, but they look well assorted. I think if I plan well and place one large order rather than several smaller ones, the shipping may well be worth the distance.

Thank you! I feel bad for them - they were a fab shop and had really good customer service. Shouldn't have happened to them.
