Geomancy Oracle Deck for Sale

Stolen DA artwork on OpenSea
I was just alerted that someone on OpenSea is selling one of my DA postings (just the image) as a non-fungible token. When I checked I found they just opened their store this month and have hundreds of DA posts listed for sale; mostly images of jewelry, small sculptures, masks and other craft-related art. The prices aren't anything to sneeze at, either. Imagine someone downloading an image of your work and asking around $20 for it! My Art Featured in a New Release by Taschen
The Empress from my New Era Elements Tarot made it into a new release by Taschen publishers! They are starting a new series of illustrated art books called the Library of Esoterica. The first volume to be published deals with the tradition of the Tarot. You can check out their new publication here. It's going to be released this month and I'm excited that part of their proceeds will benefit the Loveland Foundation, which provides therapy support for Black women and girls. From their website: "The Loveland Foundation was established in 2018 by Rachel Cargle in response to her widely successful birthday wish fundraiser, Therapy for Black Women and Girls. Her enthusiastic social media community raised over $250,000, which made it possible for Black women and girls nationally to receive therapy support. Art Feature
For this journal the feature shows works from the second prize winner of this year's Summer Contest. I love the magical and mysterious quality Gejda's photomanips possess. Every single one has me try and imagine a story behind it. I am also very impressed with the great control she has of her medium. Her alterations look incredibly believable and seamless to me.
Journal Entry
And we are getting close to the end of another year. 2013 was perhaps not the most prolific year for me artistically, but a fun one as far as my projects were concerned.
I concentrated more on beading than on drawing, did a few silver-clay projects I'm happy about, and with the "Found in Nature" bead series started a new line of cuff bracelets that feature natural textures taken from snakeskin, fish-scales and moth wings.
At this point I'd like to thank everyone who commissioned me this year and gave me fun and challenging projects to work with.
