Geomancy Oracle Deck for Sale
I'm happy to say that after some research and prototyping I am finally in production with my Geomancy Oracle deck. Stolen DA artwork on OpenSea
I was just alerted that someone on OpenSea is selling one of my DA postings (just the image) as a non-fungible token. When I checked I found they just opened their store this month and have hundreds of DA posts listed for sale; mostly images of jewelry, small sculptures, masks and other craft-related art. The prices aren't anything to sneeze at, either. Imagine someone downloading an image of your work and asking around $20 for it! New Bead Project on Etsy

My Art Featured in a New Release by Taschen
The Empress from my New Era Elements Tarot made it into a new release by Taschen publishers! They are starting a new series of illustrated art books called the Library of Esoterica. The first volume to be published deals with the tradition of the Tarot. You can check out their new publication here. It's going to be released this month and I'm excited that part of their proceeds will benefit the Loveland Foundation, which provides therapy support for Black women and girls. From their website: "The Loveland Foundation was established in 2018 by Rachel Cargle in response to her widely successful birthday wish fundraiser, Therapy for Black Women and Girls. Her enthusiastic social media community raised over $250,000, which made it possible for Black women and girls nationally to receive therapy support. Journal Entry
It's already September and a new journal entry is definitely overdue. I had a good summer this year taking a full one and a half month off work and spending time with my family in Germany and another two weeks on a lovely beach in Florida. It was good taking a bit of an out-time, even if it didn't result in quite as many art projects as I had hoped.
I did a few bead and silver clay pieces, but nothing in the way of drawings though I'm still toying with the idea of putting another Tarot deck out there, this time with original designs and themes. However, right now it's back to work.
Incidentally if you live in DFW and are heading out to Grapefest in Grapevine this weekend, check out Beads on the Vine on Main Street. They have a consignment of my bracelets. I'll be there Saturday and bring by some additional pieces.
