Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

This truly talented deviant is a new discovery for me and I am absolutely enchanted by his amazing books and other magical and mystical objects. They have a wonderful aura of being true and treasued possessions of some guild of wizards in a parallel dimension. I'd like to thank everyone who was involved with my latest DD and putting over 1000 messages into my message center during the week I was exploring the Texas hill country. It was such a wonderful surprise and a really lovely birthday gift to see so many folks loving my latest stained glass window.

I also see that I'm nearly bumping up against the big 200.000 pageviews here. So here's my offer: the first person to send me a screencap of my 200.000 pageview will get a Harry Potter Tarot deck sent to them. Right now my personal printed edition contains all the majors, all the court cards and the pips of each suit from ace to five. However, I promise that I will send them a second instalment as soon as I have drawn and printed the 6s to 10s, so in the end they'll have a full working deck.

Talking about Harry Potter - I was rather shocked to see the latest high-res picture of Narcissa for the upcoming (and sadly delayed) movie. Why the heck do they have to mess up the hair of all of the Black women? First they make Bella's look as if she'd just stuck her finger into a muggle electrical outlet, and now this skanky skunk look for the blond, straight-haired Narcissa. It does nothing for the actress who plays her, either, except make her look even older than she does anyway. How hard is it to find a pretty looking, young, blond British actress, people?

I guess all the folks who wrote philandering Lucius fanfics can take a collective sigh of relief. It's probably all true...

The vacation time was just lovely. We spent a week visiting caves, a wildlife park, stopped over at the San Antonio zoo to see the new hippo exhibit, hung out in Fredericksburg and sampled the local brew, climbed enchanted rock and ended up in the middle of a lake in a house boat for the remainder of the week. Perfect in my books!

I see, I don't remember what it was called, maybe it was "Sisters". (or maybe that's just my imagination...

) Bellatrix and Narcissa were standing in a living room, both looking at the viewer with proud/arrogant expressions. I believe there was a fireplace behind them, and a chair in front of Narcissa.(I'm not sure, but I think Bellatrix maybe was sitting in it..)I would be VERY happy if you could do that, can I note you with my e-mail adress?

Which has resulted in that I rarely look at any HP fanart in here, except yours. Good you never draw when drunk, anyway

Cate blanchett would have been a perfect choice for her ... or maybe Naomi Watts - but they are not british anyway. (Too bad they are casting only british people for the movies. :/) And I don't like Bella's look either. Helena is a great actress - but I always have *makani's version of her in my mind when it comes to Bellatrix. ._.

And it also always bothered me that the actress who plays Lily is already almost 40 while she's supposed to play a woman who died at the age of 21.
