Description
(2017), 15" x 6" x 5", stained glass (blue opal, white opal, blue, purple), glass lenses, copper foil, lead solder, chains and rings
Companion piece to the "Fuego!" and "Agua" lanterns I made before. This one features blue, purple and white and pale blue opal glass and three etched glass lenses showing the air signs of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. The three panels are connected to form a triangle with a transparent triangular glass panel suspended between them to support a candle.
I fixed chains to each of the tops of the panels so the lantern can be hung from a hook.
