Description
(2015), 2.5" x 1.5" for the pendant, Silver Art Clay (cut, molded, carved, fired and brushed), labradorite rosary chain, silver wire, labradorite beads, clasp finding
Another one from my recent batch of silver clay necklaces. This one was made up with a nice set of labradorite rosary chain pieces. Normally I antique my silver, but for once I thought the brightness of the centerpiece went well with the bright wire of the chains. I think this time I'll let the chain components age together.s
Really did enjoy figuring out a pattern for the chain drapes on this one. The centerpiece had so many possibilities.

Dear me, am I behind on your work! Let's see how many of your beauties I can tend to today.
Mucha, himself, would be proud of this piece, especially the draping, looping chains. Despite how much physical area the piece takes up, it still comes across as incredibly delicate and light thanks to said open chain, the scroll work, and your decision to leave the silver bright. It would be even more beautiful worn, as the pendant and chain loops are the perfect shape to compliment a lovely set of clavicles, strange as that probably sounds!
