Victorian Follies

(2010), both necklaces 16" end to end, brass findings, brass chains and wires, pineapple quartz beads, blue chalcedony beads.

I can't claim more artistic involvement than the assembly of these two pieces. Actually, all I wanted was get a new can of fixative from Hobby Lobby - next thing I'm in the jewelry aisle and picking up stamped brass findings and whatnot like the worst magpie!

Still, it was a nice distraction on a cold, rainy Saturday to play with the different components, bring some gemstones to the party and have some fun making costume jewelry...

I guess this is my version of jewelry junk-food!
